Golden night and silver tears – newspapers in Finland and Sweden were full of 2014 IIHF World Junior Championship stories the day after the gold medal game.
The Finnish hockey community went crazy over Finland’s win at the 2014 IIHF World Junior Championship with thousands celebrating on the streets – and online.

Groups for 2015 known Groups for 2015 known
The Air Canada Centre in Toronto and the Centre Bell in Montreal will co-host the World Juniors for two editions with the final round being held in Toronto in 2015 and in Montreal in 2017.
With the conclusion of the 2014 IIHF World Junior Championship the groups for next year’s event in Toronto and Montreal are now finalized.

Filip Forsberg has been named MVP of the U20s for his outstanding 2014 performance in Malmö. He is the first Swede so honoured since MVP awards began in 2004.
