Countdown clock unveiled, exhibition games known

Today it’s only 100 days left until the 2014 IIHF World Junior Championship will start in Malmö, Sweden.

To celebrate this, a countdown clock will be presented at Gustav Adolfs Torg next to H&M in the city centre of Malmö.

The big hockey party will follow in 100 days when the World Juniors will be played at Malmö Arena and Malmö Isstadion from 26 December 2013 to 5 January 2014.

Exhibition games known

Hockey fans in Sweden can already get a glimpse some days before the event.

Several teams will play pre-championship games at the Färs & Frosta Sparbank Arena in Lund, at Söderslättshallen in Trelleborg and at Lindab Arena in Ängelholm.

Below is a first list of pre-championship games, more will follow.
