Dansk, Ristolainen, Forsberg win Directorate Awards

Filip Forsberg has been named MVP of the U20s for his outstanding 2014 performance in Malmö. He is the first Swede so honoured since MVP awards began in 2004.

The Directorate Awards went to Sweden’s Oscar Dansk for Best Goalie, Finland’s Rasmus Ristolainen for Best Defenceman, and Sweden’s Filip Forsberg as Best Forward.

The media All-Star Team consisted of:

Defence: Nikita Zadorov (RUS)
Defence: Rasmus Ristolainen (FIN)
Forward: Anthony Mantha (CAN)
Forward: Teuvo Teräväinen (FIN)
Forward: Filip Forsberg (SWE)

MVP: Filip Forsberg (SWE)

Forsberg is the only repeat player to the All-Star Team, having been named to the 2013 edition as well.
